From November 16-19, eighteen Deree students from multiple academic programs participated in this year’s educational trip to Brussels, where they explored international cooperation firsthand through visits to major EU and NATO institutions. Organized for the fourth consecutive year by ACG’s Office of Public Affairs in collaboration with the Institute of Global Affairs (IGA), the three-day experience introduced students to the work of European and transatlantic organizations and the importance of global governance.
Written by Anastasia Mouratoglou, a fourth-year International Relations and European Affairs student, the news item captures how the trip offered invaluable exposure to decision makers, Deree alumni working in Brussels, and professionals shaping European policy—highlighting both the educational and career-oriented impact of the experience.
