ACG 150
Strategic Plan

Launched in 2017, the ACG 150 Strategic Plan (ACG 150) aims to position the College as a unique educational resource to support the holistic development of students as well as Greece’s comprehensive wellbeing and to promote Hellenic values and traditions.

ACG’s ability to deliver on this ambitious vision is rooted in the College’s:

Distinctive profile: oldest/largest US college/university in Europe; 6,000+ students from 70+ countries; 500+ faculty; $300M+ endowment

History of innovation, translating US education best practices, e.g.: pioneering education for girls; educating Greece’s first social workers; introducing psychology, marketing, information technology as academic disciplines in Greece, first US-accredited college/university abroad.

President’s Message
ACG 150 builds on the College's nearly 150-year history to address some of the most critical challenges and opportunities Greece faces in the 21st century as well as to extend the influence of Hellenic values and traditions that reach back thousands of years. It is a plan to bring out the best in our students and the country we have served since our relocation to Athens from Smyrna in 1923.
