The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholarship Program
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation is a world-leading international philanthropic organization dedicated to funding institutions and projects that are expected to achieve a broad, lasting and positive impact on society at large. The American College of Greece is honored to receive the Foundation’s support in the form of a donation that establishes a scholarship program for Parallel Studies at Deree. The donation to Deree is part of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s “Recharging the Youth” initiative, which aims to help create new opportunities for Greece’s younger generations. The Parallel Studies Program at Deree offers outstanding students the opportunity to enroll for a minor (i.e. a series of US-accredited and EU-validated courses – typically 6 – in a specific discipline), while concurrently pursuing a Greek public University degree. With the SNF donation, this successful program will be expanded and enhanced resulting in more students broadening their educational experience and equipping themselves with tools to launch meaningful careers.
A.C. Laskaridis Foundation Entrepreneurship Scholarship (ACLFES)
The A.C. Laskaridis Foundation Expendable Scholarship provides tuition reduction to students majoring in Entrepreneurship Management, based on the students’ financial need and academic performance. Renewal of the award to the same recipient is possible as long as he/she continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
ACG Outbound Study Abroad Scholarship
The OSAP scholarship program is intended to encourage Deree students to undertake study abroad program at Deree partner universities around the world, thus acquiring enriching international experience. Candidates for this scholarship must have been admitted to the Outbound Study Abroad Program and have a documented financial need.
The Latsis Foundation Study Abroad Scholarships Program
The Latsis Foundation Study Abroad Scholarships Program will be available from the current academic year (2020-2021) to academic year 2022-2023. It provides deserving undergraduate Parallel Studies students (Deree students who study in parallel at Greek Public Universities) and full-time undergraduate Deree students the opportunity to follow study abroad programs at Deree partner institutions in the USA and around the world during the Fall and Spring semester, and summer sessions/terms.
SNF/ACG Study Abroad Scholarship
The SNF/ACG Study Abroad Scholarship is offered to minor certificate (CTM) students who intend to study abroad at Deree partner or non-partner institutions for Spring/Fall semesters and summer sessions/terms. The possibility to apply to non-partner schools applies only for summer programs. To be eligible for this scholarship students need to have taken a minimum of two courses at Deree to be able to demonstrate a GPA/CI. Students are awarded full or partial scholarships towards their study abroad program.
Heritage Greece Scholarship
Deree students who participated in the Heritage Greece program receive a €1,000 scholarship for Outbound Study Abroad to one of our exchange programs upon successful completion of the program. Please note that there is only one scholarship available per student, regardless of the number of times the student participates in the HG program.
