ACG Earns STARS® Gold Rating for the Third Consecutive Time

The American College of Greece (ACG) has earned a STARS® Gold Rating for the third consecutive time, recognizing its outstanding sustainability performance and commitment to continuous improvement. Administered by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), the STARS framework evaluates institutions across academics, engagement, operations, planning and administration, and innovation and leadership.

Achieving its highest score to date under the more rigorous STARS 3.0 framework, ACG remains the only institution in Greece currently participating in the program and is among a select group of institutions worldwide to hold a STARS Gold Rating. This recognition reflects ACG’s leadership in sustainability and its ongoing commitment to measurable impact across teaching, research, campus operations, and community engagement.
