As part of ACG’s 150-year anniversary celebrations in 2025, the ACG Institute for Hellenic Growth and Prosperity (IHGP) and the Deree Economics Society organized a series of academic lectures featuring distinguished speakers across various sectors. These lectures aimed to promote dialogue on innovative solutions to Greece’s economic challenges. Each session provided an in-depth overview of key sectors, fostering productive discussions with ACG students, staff, and faculty. Moderated by Professor Michalis Psalidopoulos, the lectures explored topics ranging from the global maritime industry by Professor Gelina Harlaftis to economic issues and prospects by Professor Michael Arghyrou, recent social security reforms by Professor Panos Tsakloglou and challenges to the Greek real estate market by Michalis Peglis. The series will continue through the Fall Semester of 2025.
