ACG 150

The American College of Greece (ACG) participated in the Athens Science Festival (ASF), which took place from October 10 to 12, 2023, at Technopolis, City of Athens. The ASF’s theme was “Shape Your Future” through STEM education, and the ACG participation was titled “Scientist for a Day.”

The Athens Science Festival featured a diverse range of curriculum activities centered around the festival’s theme. ACG played a prominent role by showcasing educational initiatives in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). They presented experiments and games related to climate change, monitoring of climatic parameters, biodiversity, environmental protection, life sciences, biotechnology, computer science, and experimental 5G wireless communication devices utilizing Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology. This participation was organized by the Center of Excellence in Sustainability and the Department of Science and Mathematics at Deree, with support from the Deree Office of Admissions, which informed students about educational programs at Deree-ACG.
