3rd International Diving Conference 2025

ACG hosted the 3rd International Diving Conference 2025, bringing together global experts in technical and recreational diving and underwater environmental protection.

Co-organized with the Hellenic Underwater Explorers (HUE), the ACG Center of Excellence in Sustainability (CoES), and the Center of Excellence in Shipping, Logistics and Energy (CoESLE), the conference featured distinguished speakers from academia, government, conservation organizations, and the diving community.

Sessions covered underwater archaeology, marine habitat protection, cave diving safety, diving medicine, rebreather technology, and advances in underwater exploration. Special guest Ahmed Gabr, Guinness World Record holder for the deepest dive, shared insights from his career and coral restoration work. The conference concluded with honors recognizing key contributors to the field.
