Antigone G. Kyrousi holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Subject Area: Advertising) from the Athens University of Economics and Business (2014); her doctoral research on consumer responses to color in advertising was funded by the EU. She has also conducted postdoctoral research on advertising under grant funding at the Athens University of Economics and Business (2014-2015). She holds a university degree in Marketing & Communication (2006) and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing (2008), both awarded from the Athens University of Economics and Business.

Antigone is an Assistant Professor in Marketing in Deree – The American College of Greece since 2018. She has been teaching undergraduate courses in marketing, marketing communications, consumer behavior, marketing creativity and innovation, as well as marketing and business research. She also teaches advertising campaign strategy at the graduate level. She has previously taught undergraduate courses in advertising and marketing at the Cyprus University of Technology and the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has also taught postgraduate courses and supervised student dissertations at the Open University of Cyprus, the University of West Attica, the ESC Rennes Business School, the University of Roehampton Online. She has supervised doctoral research in the University of Liverpool.

Antigone’s research focuses on advertising/ marketing communications, branding and consumer behavior.  Her work has been published in journals, such as Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Advertising, Management Research Review and Corporate Communications: an International Journal. She has presented several papers in international conferences, such as the International Conference of Research in Advertising and the International Conference on Corporate and Marketing Communications. She has twice received distinctions for research papers presented in academic conferences. Antigone has co-authored a Greek textbook on Advertising, as well as chapters in books and research volumes. She is a member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Advertising, and she has completed ad-hoc reviews for other journals such as Journal of Product & Brand Management and Corporate Communications: an International Journal. She is a member of ELAM/ Greek Marketing Academy and the European Academy of Advertising.
