Dr. Eugenia Tzoumaka is Associate Lecturer at Deree – The American College of Greece (ACG) and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of West Attica. Dr. Tzoumaka specializes in the area of consumer-based brand equity of international sports celebrities and holds a Ph.D from the Business Administration Department of Athens University of Economics & Business. Her thesis was awarded the international João Havelange Research Scholarship by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) through a competitive application process. She is a skilled mixed methods researcher with experience in quantitative and qualitative methods. Her current research interests include sports celebrity brands, social identification effects on consumer behavior, digital marketing, and sports tourism. She has published papers in international conferences, edited volumes and AJG academic journals, such as the Journal of Marketing Communications and the International Journal of Sport Management and Marketing
