Dr. George Skourtis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism, Hospitality, and Sports at ACG and a member of the Center of Excellence in Food, Tourism & Leisure (CoEFTL). He holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Toulouse University 1, Capitole, France, an MSc in Economic and Business Strategy from the University of Piraeus, Greece, and a BSc in Tourism and Business Administration from Technological Education Institute of Piraeus, Greece. Prior to that, he was a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at Canterbury Christ Church University, UK. Dr. Skourtis has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals and in international conferences. His work has been cited 332 times with h-index 9 (Google Scholar Citations). His research interests include marketing theory, marketing services, tourism marketing and consumer behavior.
