Dr. Lena Pateraki is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Psychology Department at Deree – The American College of Greece, where she has taught in both the graduate and undergraduate schools since 1993.
Dr. Lena Pateraki holds a BA in Psychology from Deree — The American College of Greece and a Ph.D. from Hull University, England, in Cognitive Psychology. She currently teaches courses in the areas of Cognition and Language. She supervises graduate and undergraduate theses as well as Honours.
Her research interests focus on moral judgment decisions, memory and emotion, and cognitive factors affecting decision-making. Her areas of interest are Neurocognition and Neuro-psychoanalysis.
She has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and her work is presented in international and Greek conferences.
