Dr. Nikolaos Bakas is an Assistant Professor at the Information Technology Department, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree – The American College of Greece. His research interests comprise the fundamental mathematical modeling of machine learning algorithms, with a significant track record of scientific publications in Machine Learning, Numerical Methods, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). He has also been PI for a variety of specialized machine learning projects in industry and academia, as well as consulting various organizations to adopt AI and HPC algorithms.
