Dr. Symeon Siomopoulos is a part-time professor at Deree (teaching Sport Psychology, Sport Pedagogy and Sport Coaching). He received his PhD in Psychology from the University of Athens, his MSc in Sport Psychology and in Sport Organization from Miami University of Ohio and his University degree on Physical Education with a specialization in tennis from the University of Athens. He has published on the Greek journal of sport psychology and has presented at various congresses on the psychological aspects of sports (like tennis, swimming, diving, karate). For the past two years, he has been the educator of approximately 500 tennis coaches in China, in topics concerning the field of Sport Psychology. He has worked as a sport psychology consultant and a coach with professional tennis athletes and as a sport psychology consultant with athletes of various sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball gymnastics, windsurfing and others). As an adolescent he was ranked at the first places of the Greek tennis league.
