Biography

Dr. Vardoulias has been a member of the Information Technology faculty since 2017. His career is well balanced between industry and academia. Previous industrial positions include Motorola UK, Rocksourse ASA (Norway), Forthnet-Nova and Intracom Defense Electronics. He is an experienced academic educator and researcher, with more than 8 years of teaching at the Hellenic Naval Academy and continuous collaboration with the National Center of Scientific Research “Demokritos” since 2005, where he has participated as a researcher and project manager in numerous EU research projects. His research interests include cybersecurity aspects of Software Defined Networking (SDN), Software Defined Radio (SDR), Spread Spectrum systems and Controlled Source Electromagnetics (CSEM) techniques. He is a Member of RTIN’s SWiFT Lab since Sept. 2020.
