Visiting Lecturer at the Hochschule Bremen, City University of Applied Sciences. Instructor of professional training seminars with Top Training (since 2013). Has been Safety & Quality and Research & Development Manager in Elvictor Group, Greece (2010-2011). Research Partner in Innovative Compliance Europe Inc., UK (2015-2016) and Marine Institute, Memorial University, St. Johns, Canada (2010-2012). Teaching experience (2002-to date) in Post- and Under-graduate Programmes in maritime management and business courses. Experience in professional training seminars (Top Training and Quality Maritime Services Training Center) and distance-learning methods (Hellenic Open University & SQLearn). Published work in Maritime Policy and Management, Marine Policy, WMU Journal of Maritime Affairs and author of chapters in books. Participation in Research Projects (funded by the European Commission, The Nippon Foundation, Greek Ministry of Transport, Panhellenic Seamen Federation, etc.) concerning the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC2006), maritime human resources management, cross-cultural competence development. During her PhD she conducted the first on board survey in Greece for the observation of a multicultural crew (2005), and the first field survey among around 100 Greek owned shipping companies for issues related to Cross-Cultural & Human Resource Management in shipping (2007).
