Biography

Dr. Mylonopoulos is Associate Professor of Digital Business at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece. During the 2009-2014 Greek crisis, he led a successful turnaround as Associate Dean of Academic Programs and MBA Academic Director. He has also served as Associate Dean of Innovation and Technology, Academic Director of Applied Research and International Projects, and Academic Director of IT. He has taught at Sheffield University Management School, Loughborough University Business School, Warwick Business School, Birkbeck College (University of London), Kedge Business School, and the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has teaching and research interests in the areas of Enterprise Systems, Digital Business and Mobile Commerce. His work has been published in international refereed journals and conferences, including the Management Science, Computers in Human Behavior, and the International Journal of Electronic Commerce. He has served as guest editor for the British Journal of Management, the Journal of the OR Society and the Journal of Knowledge and Process Management and is co-editor of the International Journal of Information Technology Education. He has co-edited three books and chaired, co-chaired and co-organized numerous international conferences. He was founding program co-chair of the International Conference on Mobile Business. He has led or participated in numerous international research consortia in research projects funded by the European Commission and national agencies. His teaching utilizes computer-based business simulations (by INSEAD/CALT and ERPSim Lab at HEC Montreal) on subjects such as digital transformation, enterprise systems, change management, collaborative decision making, e-business, strategic information management. He has delivered Executive Education seminars to global companies such as Titan Cement, S&B, Eurobank, Piraeus Bank, Novo Nordisk, GSK, Quest Holdings, and others. He is a member of the Association of Information Systems and a Board Member of HEPIS (Hellenic Society of Informatics Professionals).
