Pinelopi Savvidou is a PhD Researcher at Cranfield University, UK, in Water Sciences. She has a multidisciplinary background in environmental sciences as she has obtained her BSc (Hons) in Environmental Studies from the American College of Greece with a minor in Biology (2014 – 2019) and an MSc degree in Environmental Science: Chemistry, Toxicology, and Health from the Copenhagen University (2019 – 2021). During her time at ACG her research focused on plant conservation and green roof performance. Currently, she is working on environmental analytical methods and the detection of micropollutants in wastewater and their fate and impact on the environment. As a student at ACG she organized and participated in sustainability initiatives and was also actively involved with the College’s community service activities.
